Sweet Avenue Bake Shop is a boutique family-owned cupcakery in Rutherford, NJ. Unlike many other bakeries, we make everything from scratch in small batches daily and never use any cake mixes or packaged frostings. We always use the finest ingredients like pure madagascar bourbon vanilla, and imported european chocolate. We believe that if you're going to have a cupcake, you should have the best.
Because variety is the spice of life we have a rotating menu of over 25 flavors including traditional favorites like Sexy Sadie (southern-style red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting) to Boston Cream and Lemon-Raspberry. We also have a variety of gourmet cookies including Chocolate Chunk and Mocha Brownie.
